I'm into data systems and agentic AI - the kind that reasons, calls tools, and actually does things without hand-holding. Currently at
Tracksuit. I build in the open, tinker with weird side projects on weekends, and occasionally win hackathons. When I'm not writing Python or shipping pipelines, I'm probably dancing or climbing a mountain somewhere in New Zealand.
Most of my work lives in Python, SQL, and TypeScript. On the data side, I lean on Snowflake, DuckDB, and dbt for warehousing and transformation, with AWS running the infrastructure underneath - ECS, SageMaker, Lambda, the usual suspects. When I'm building something user-facing, it's usually Next.js on Cloudflare or Vercel. Lately I've been deep in the agentic AI space — building systems with Claude, Google ADK, and LangChain that can call tools, search knowledge bases, orchestrate sub-agents, and loop until they get it right. I like infrastructure that stays boring and AI that doesn't.
