Dear Cavalry Troopers,

April has flown by, and as we enter the fourth week, it's time for another edition of the Cavalry Times. This month has been a whirlwind of activity. We're proud to bring you a full lineup of articles, interviews, jokes, crosswords, and regimental news—along with the introduction of two new writers.

It is my pleasure to welcome SGT Lethbridge and PFC Lafayette to the Cavalry Times team. As many of you know, the Times is a labor of love that requires significant effort. Their addition is greatly appreciated and will help us deliver more timely and polished newsletters to the Cav.

We've also introduced several new features this month. The Monthly Salute Crossword makes its debut, alongside a new jokes and memes page and a Recipe of the Month. In addition, two recurring sections have been added. A Lesson in History, written by PFC Lafayette, brings military history to our doorstep, paired with tactical or strategic insights. The second, The Redacted Diaries, offers a first-hand account from an unidentified operative embedded with troopers during various operations. His identity and affiliation remain unknown, but his story will unfold over time, building both mystery and suspense.

Finally, we've included a section highlighting rising titles within the gaming community—and this month does not disappoint.

Thank you for your continued support. Please keep sharing your ideas and constructive feedback; it is greatly appreciated.

From everyone here at the Cavalry Times, thank you for reading, and enjoy the remainder of April.

Respectfully,

PFC Cartwright.B
