Many enterprises are confused with dealing the unsatisfactory reality of legacy BI systems. We must accept the reality that the legacy BI systems that support day-to-day business activities will remain in place for the foreseeable future. However, because a sizeable component of these systems is used to support daily business operations, it is difficult to completely decommission and replace them. It’s not as simple to just rip-and-replace a legacy BI environment in favor of a newer, shinier technological platform for a variety of reasons, one of which being greater business risk.

While companies continue to invest time and money in conventional BI systems, 47% cite a growing need to integrate with modern systems to satisfy business expectations. Nearly 97% of all gathered reports are simply archived in these legacy BI platforms and never used again. Furthermore, much of it is obsolete and superfluous, adding little to no value to the organization. However, by giving your legacy BI tools a modern life, you can alleviate existing issues.

So, how do you create a new BI ecosystem and take advantage of integrating multiple BI platforms while retaining the benefits of legacy BI platforms without causing any IT involvement and interruption? Don’t worry, this blog will be your comprehensive guide.

You must strongly believe that in order to gain a new technological platform, you don’t need to disturb the entire IT environment. After spending money and time on your legacy program, a complete rewrite makes no sense, right? What if we tell you that it is possible to adopt newer technology without having to start from scratch? You can improve your existing application without having to construct a new one by using many industry solutions and a ready-made architecture called BI fabric.

Why is this modernization happening?

Basically, BI fabric entails bringing your enterprise BI reports from legacy and modern BI platforms (both on-premises and in the cloud) to a single advanced new system that enhances business intelligence. This can greatly boost employee satisfaction while also improving business decision-making efficiency. Integrating on-premises and cloud platforms allows for a new report management and consolidation module that would otherwise be hard to provide. This facelift boosts the ability to adapt to any unanticipated advancement of technology.

Why has BI modernization and BI fabric become crucial for all enterprises?

Competitive advantage

54% of firms that provide IT services state that one of the most challenging elements is integrating new technologies. The integration of a new solution into a current BI environment has become a concern on the path to digital transformation. Fortunately, legacy-modern BI system integration aids in the management of a light product that provides a competitive edge.

Reliability and growth

Newer technologies offer improved performance as well as a more consistent and smoother workflow. Advancement has become crucial component in this competitive market, and it is high time to take advantage of legacy systems with modern solutions. Furthermore, modern BI solutions improve functionality and governance while reducing security risks.

Recover buried reports

As previously stated, 97 percent of reports in older systems are lost and forgotten. Unlocking the value of your data can help you enhance your business processes.

how to modernize your legacy BI systems with BI fabric

Futuristic

Every industry requires a specific process of report management. Outdated legacy BI systems cannot ensure this strict flow and block changes. You leave a larger window for future opportunities by adapting your IT environment to fit into nimble and cutting-edge technological developments.

Be market-driven

Every business intends to be modern and up to date, which is difficult to achieve if you continue to use obsolete BI platforms without integrations. Embracing innovation will enhance your company’s image and may even attract investors. Integration is significantly less invasive and costly than a total system replacement.

Common challenges

Legacy technologies have a rigid manual integration structure that entails time-consuming operations. It has a restricted view of data flow between on-premises and cloud apps. Data security in integrating traditional BI systems is significantly high, and data transit has a significant amount of latency. While employees are accustomed to using legacy systems, the inflexibility and continual care these technologies require will hinder business progress.

How to integrate all Legacy BI systems with modern many?

Since these legacy BI systems help us find some relevant analytics content, and it is just not financially or logically feasible to get rid of them completely. However, when they undergo digital transformations, the most astute businesses know this and seek to effectively balance both worlds. The end goal is to create cost-effective legacy system connections with current applications without causing interruption, and businesses who do this can preserve their legacy systems while freely embracing newer BI solutions.

There is more than one way to connect legacy and modern BI systems, but we’ll focus on the three basic ones with the one ready-to-go like BI fabric.

Create a custom integration

As your BI ecosystem evolves, the question becomes how often you’ll need to create new integrations. Companies that do this want to fully own the solution and have a strong applicant pool of programmers who can develop code in legacy programming languages and customise it to their specific needs. However, from the coding involved to the time it takes to maintain a proprietary integration in-house, this is a significant undertaking.

API adoption

APIs, as one of the most prevalent legacy BI system integration types, expose functions of your legacy software to outside integration and simplify the process. APIs provide much-needed flexibility while also improving performance. This method necessitates the use of developers, which means you are ultimately responsible for any necessary adjustments. While this does not necessitate a significant financial investment up front, it does take time to establish integrations. API-centric integrations are also continually being developed and maintained, so you’ll need some developers who can keep up with these ever-changing APIs.

Readymade Integrations – BI Fabric

Instead of going through the time-consuming process of integration on your own, you can subscribe to a ready-made solution. Some businesses provide a straightforward solution for smooth integration, hence resolving the issues with legacy BI infrastructure. Ready to go solutions like BI fabric architecture is provided by BI Hub and it is a single integration platform designed to reliably connect your legacy BI system with modern BI platforms., without the fear of business disruption. Its flexible deployment choices are also tailored to your firm’s needs, allowing your IT personnel to focus on business growth rather than the complexity of managing integrations.

Lastly, a few words adopting new solutions and technologies without giving a thought and evaluation will result in a highly complicated BI ecosystems that will require an immediate revamp. Therefore, it’s critical to properly examine your obsolete systems and determine whether or not they need to be replaced. You should consult BI experts to achieve your objectives and avoid unintended outcomes that could render your initial system upgrade plan ineffective. Their knowledge will ensure a thorough plan for legacy system integration and help you get closer to success.

Mergers and acquisitions affect several key factors such as business, legal, human resources, intellectual property, IT, finance, and of course, business intelligence. When two different companies sign up for an M&A, it becomes challenging to confront the complexities in integrating dozens or hundreds of applications and IT systems.  Your new mixture of Business Intelligence systems should not be a headache. A BI Fabric helps in easing out the whole process, streamlining the transition and integration of your BI systems from both companies. This blog will see how adopting a BI fabric becomes the best BI investment decision you take during an M&A.

The Challenge

One of the key projects during M&A for the BI team will be to decide how the new BI systems from the acquired company can be integrated into the parent company. There are few critical decisions that the CIO must make such as:
  • Which BI system should be retained from the acquired company?
  • Which BI system needs to be migrated?
  • Which BI system must be removed from the BI environment?
  • Who should have access to which report & so on…
Hence, it is vital for the M&A team to decide how to handle the analytics assets which both parties bring to the table after the merger.

Adopt BI Fabric to your existing BI environment

BI Fabric helps to stitch together multiple BI platforms using a common semantic layer in a unified portal. A BI Fabric is referred to as:
“A set of technologies that allow application development and delivery pros, users, and architects to integrate, leverage, and reuse components from multiple business intelligence platforms.” -Forrester 2018
A Forrester research paper titled “Use BI Fabric to Optimize Your Multivendor Business Intelligence Environment” by Boris Evelson categorizes the multi-platform BI integration into seven modules as shown in the image below: How to protect your BI investments from M&A risk? Mergers and Acquisitions always involve a huge amount of change management. By having a single BI Portal, the company can train their old and new employees how to access all of their reports from a single place, regardless of where the report is from (the parent company or the acquired company). If the company decided to retire a BI system (or many) and replace all the reports with a new BI system, it will be transparent to the users because they will still always go to their BI Portal to get their reports and they don’t really have to know or care if the report comes from the old BI system of from the new one. Consider a situation where the parent company decides to bring in a new BI system. Having a BI Fabric is certainly an advantage in situations like these which helps to ease out the BI integration and consolidation process. Even if another M&A occurs and technology changes, a BI fabric will make it easier and less disruptive to replace one BI tool with another.

BI Hub to the rescue!

BI Hub is a BI Portal that helps you to unify all your BI reports into a single place.  It also helps the BI users to get real-time access to all the reports spread across different BI systems. The image below shows the categories under which BI Hub falls in a BI Fabric. How to protect your BI investments from M&A risk? During a merger or acquisition, by the time the parent company decides which BI System to keep and which must be retired, BI Hub can come to the rescue by saving time and effort. You can simply import all your BI reports from all your BI systems into BI Hub and decide later which to retain and which to retire. BI Hub enables teams to easily access any BI report and share it quickly with the teams and help significantly reduce the integration risk. With BI Hub in place, the parent company can take its own sweet time to decide which BI tool to stick with. BI Hub can also function as an audit tool for the BI Platforms to get BI usage statistics. It also ensures BI Governance by giving you complete details like who has access to the reports, their last login, and their last password change, and more from the audit User Section.

Summary

In the heat of the moment, no one wants to hear that there is a likelihood that your M&A activity could result in BI chaos and inefficiency to the IT team. In today’s world, multiple BI platforms are inevitable for enterprises with ever-changing business scenarios. With BI Hub in place, you can potentially bridge the gap between living with BI chaos and successfully dealing with multiple BI tools during an M&A. We would like to introduce you to the new version of BI Hub – V2.7.1. In this release, we have implemented new features and fixed few issues. Here is an abstract of all new features and bug fixes in our new BI Hub V.2.7.1!

What’s New?

With this new version, you will get the following features:

  • Enabling Service Principal Authentication for Power BI.
  • User Specific Sync – Enabled Auto Sync option.
  • Display MS-SharePoint Document Version History in BI Hub.

Enabling Service Principal Authentication

Power BI agent uses a security identity called Power BI service principal. This service principal allows the BI Hub app to access power BI-specific azure resources. Instead of using BI Hub Admin credentials, this Service Principal can be used to authenticate to access Power BI resources.

User Specific Sync – Enabled Auto Sync

In the previous release V2.7.0, we had implemented a new feature for user sync allowing users to manually sync their reports. This is an enhancement to the existing feature where auto sync will be triggered as soon as the user logs in. This option can be enabled/disabled by the BI Hub Administrator. Thus, report sync for each user can be accomplished using Auto or Manual sync.

MS-SharePoint Document Versions imported in BI Hub

In this release, we have imported all the version history available for SharePoint documents inside BI Hub. Now, users will be able to access all the versions of a document inside the BI Hub portal itself. All the capabilities that SharePoint provides related to Version History will be available within BI Hub.

Important Fixes

We have also fixed few bugs with this release:

  • BI Hub Application has been optimized on the performance aspect.
  • SAC Analytic Application can now be accessed through BI Hub.

For the past few decades, almost every enterprise has relied on one or more BI platforms to build their analytics content.  The turnaround time to build a report is very quick and a lot of people in an organization build reports frequently and generate a lot of content in their BI Platform. Today after few years of BI Platform usage, one significant challenge that most enterprises face is pretty much the same: “My BI platform is a total mess. How do I clean it up?”

BI Hub is a one-stop-shop portal to access all your analytics content in one place. BI Hub’s capability is not only limited to just consume reports, but it gives you much more. In this blog, we will see how BI Hub can benefit enterprises that own a single BI platform.

1. One BI Platform with multiple instances

An organization may own just a single BI platform but may be established in different parts of the world and each region may have its own BI platform instances. For example, they might have an instance in the U.S. and another one in Europe.  A user logging into the BI Platform may have restrictions to access only certain instances and not all. When he/she wants to find a report, they may not be able to find it within the available instances they have access to. However, the report might be available in a different instance for which they do not have access. Thus, users start building a similar report from scratch as they do not have visibility to the report that already exists.

BI Hub integrates all the instances into one portal and consolidates the entire content in one place. Though the security and authentication mechanism is inherited from BI Platforms, BI Hub can display inaccessible reports for every user. In this way, the user will have a 360-degree view of all the reports from all the instances and can take action accordingly to access the inaccessible report. This will prevent them from building reports again from scratch and save a lot of time.

2. Report Metadata

As mentioned earlier, report generation happens at a very rapid pace. With that many reports, it becomes very hard to search and find the right report they are looking for. If there are no additional properties attached to a report, it is nearly impossible to find the right report quickly and in less time.

BI Hub offers a “Custom Metadata” option for users to create metadata and attach it to reports. They can create as much metadata as they wish to and tag it with reports. For example, a user can create metadata like Description, Subject Matter Expert, Documentation, Department, Mobile-Enabled, etc. for a report and provide relevant details for each metadata. This will help a user to search a report quickly using the metadata and gain a better understanding of the report.

3. Custom URL & Native Connectors

BI Hub supports native/direct connectivity to 10+ market-leading BI Platforms. You can also leverage BI Hub to consume documents like Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PDF files residing in Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and your enterprise’s file server. BI Hub also offers a Custom URL option to integrate with other systems, webpages, or other applications. In this way, BI Hub acts as an Enterprise Content Management tool and enables users to login to BI Hub to access all the analytics content residing in different places.

4. Reports all over the place

A user or a business unit may have reports in different folders/instances, and it is time-consuming for them to navigate to different folders/instances to access all their reports. They must remember all the folder/instance details, folder hierarchy and maintain separate access controls for each folder/instance.

BI Hub has an in-built feature called “My Folders” through which each user can logically group all their reports from different areas into a single folder. This will help them to maintain reports in one place and will make their life simpler with quick access.

5. Favorite Reports

Not all BI platform vendors provide the option to have favorite reports and if an enterprise owns a BI platform that does not support Favoriting, there is no way for users to just pin/favorite the reports that they want to frequently access.

BI Hub has a “Favorites” section where users can go and favorite the report that they want to access frequently. Once favorited, all these reports will be available in the Favorites section. In this way, users can save a lot of time by accessing the report directly with one click from the Favorites tab instead of traversing through the traditional folder hierarchy.

6. Team Collaboration

Though a report is being consumed by multiple users/user groups, one challenge is that there is no way for users to collaborate within BI platform. If there is any discrepancy in a report, users communicate using their Email/IM to raise the issue.

BI Hub has an in-built “Commentary” feature that allows people to collaborate and communicate through the portal. Users can comment either privately or in the public mode about a report by tagging someone and the recipient is notified immediately about the comment being made. They can comment back with their inputs, and this helps to improve collaboration as everything is being done in place.

We would like to introduce you to the new version of BI Hub – V2.7.0. In this release, we have implemented new features and worked on performance optimizations. Here is an abstract of all new features and bug fixes in our new BI Hub V.2.7.0!

What’s New?

With this new version, you will get the following features:

    • User Specific Sync Report Implementation.
    • Enabled parameter for Session Timeout value instead of a hardcoded value.
    • BI Hub Mobile App – Ready to use in iPhone & iPad.
    • Implemented pagination for the User Manager page in Admin View.
    • Optimized the performance of the sync jobs and the overall product.

1. User Specific Sync Report

We have enabled a “Sync Report” option in the user mode so that each user can login and sync reports from all the BI Platforms they have access to. This helps in completing the sync process quickly and users will be notified with the list of added/revoked reports instantly. They do not have to depend on the Administrator anymore for syncing the reports. However, the Admin side Sync feature is still available for those who would like to perform sync at an organization level. Administrators will have the option in their portal to enable/disable the user-specific sync report feature.

whats-new-in-bi-hub-v2-7-0-1

2. Session Timeout – Parameter

We have enabled a parameter for setting the session timeout value. Administrators can set the desired value based on their organization’s needs. Once a value is defined, Administrators can increase or decrease at any point of time. The minimum timeout value has been defaulted to 30 minutes.

3. BI Hub Mobile App

We have also optimized and enabled the product to be responsive in Mobile Apps. Users can access their reports in BI Hub Portal using iPad/iPhone from anywhere.

4. Pagination in User Manager Tab

We have implemented the pagination concept in the User Manager tab in Admin View. This will help in bringing back the user list quickly and allow the Administrators to quickly navigate to the corresponding page to see the details of a user.

Important Fixes

We have also fixed several bugs with this release. Some important bugs or issues that have been fixed in this version are as follows.

  • MS-SharePoint PDF reports will now open in PDF viewer in a new tab.
  • Performance issues related to Sync jobs have been addressed.
  • When an upgrade is canceled, the version is rolled back to the base version instead of deleting the old files.

In today’s world, many companies are shifting to a self-service model. Business users are not just consuming reports but also trying to gain more insights about report properties like report source, report SME, whether it is certified, last updated, and documentations attached with it. They want to see all these details so that they can ensure that they are looking at the right report.
The only way to consolidate these details for a report is through “Metadata”. Report Metadata is defined as information about one or more aspects of the report; it is used to collect information which can make tracking and working with specific report easily.

Problem Statement

For a user to discover the right report from a BI system with 100% confidence, they have to spend a huge amount of effort and time if there is/are:

• no visibility on the folder path
• cluttered BI environment
• duplicate reports
• no report certification process

Today, most enterprises have these concerns as they own multiple BI systems. Report consumption has increased on an everyday basis rapidly without a proper governance strategy in place. Thus, each and every user starts building their own reports without knowing if there is a similar one that is already built. This, in turn, adds more reports to the already cluttered BI environment.

Solution

In order to overcome this challenge, it is always recommended to understand the report metadata. It will contain a lot of information related to the report like created time, owner, last updated, etc.

Also, each and every BI system will have its own metadata properties. But it is difficult to unify the metadata between different BI systems. Not understanding the metadata may lead to bad business decisions.

BI Hub is a one-stop-shop portal to discover and consume reports from multiple BI systems. BI Hub has extensive metadata management, it will import the existing metadata from your BI systems and on top of that, you can create custom metadata and tag it to your reports.

Some examples of metadata that BI Hub allows you to create are these:

1. Report Subject Matter Expert (SME)

You can create an SME attribute and tag it to a report. SME may be an individual/team for the report. In this way, you will know whom to approach in case of any questions/issues related to the report.

2. Certification level

When you have a jungle of reports and are unable to identify the single source of truth, a certification attribute will help you differentiate those reports which are “ready-to-use” vs “work-in-progress”. You can have certification levels like Silver, Gold & Platinum and streamline the process of report usage effectively.

3. Mobile Enabled

In recent years, report consumption in mobile is being adopted heavily and has been the primary requirement while building reports/dashboards. If there is an attribute that classifies which reports are mobile-enabled vs which are not, it becomes easy for users, especially C-Level Executives, to take decisions immediately by accessing these reports on mobile devices from anywhere.

4. Documentation

Documentation for a report is a great add-on as it may contain detailed information about the KPIs and visualizations and may also act as a help document for the report. Normally, these related documents are stored separately in a shared drive and not linked to the report. As years pass by, it becomes difficult and time-consuming for someone to find the documentation associated with the report. With BI Hub, you will be able to create an attribute called “Documentation” and link it to the report so that you can access it and gather answers to all of your questions without reaching out to the respective team/person.

Creating a new metadata attribute in BI Hub

can-attributes-metadata-help-you-find-the-right-reports-2

Assigning a report with Department metadata as “Finance”

can-attributes-metadata-help-you-find-the-right-reports-3

New metadata called “Department” created and finance tagged to it

You can see from the screenshots above that we were able to create new metadata called “Department” and were able to assign it to the reports. For example, the finance team’s reports can be tagged with Department “Finance” and they will be able to find their reports using this metadata.

In BI Hub, the custom metadata will be applicable to all the reports regardless of the BI system. You will also be able to unify the metadata for all the reports coming from different BI systems.

Thus, it becomes easy for a user to access BI Hub and find the exact report they are looking for aided by all this information stored in the report metadata.

You have multiple BI systems to meet the individual needs of multiple departments – that’s great, or is it?

In today’s world, Business Intelligence (BI) is an integral part of each and every company’s day-to-day activities and with rapid technological advancement, there have been a lot of BI offerings available in the market. Most of the companies end up owning several BI systems because different departments or teams use different BI tools. That means that the number of reports that are in use is huge, the data is scattered across multiple systems and many times it’s duplicated because different reports will need data in different formats or in different databases. All this makes decision-making even more difficult and prone to errors which increases time, cost, and risk.

Here are few key challenges with having multiple BI Systems:

1. No centralized access point

Since there is not a single place to find reports, users don’t have an easy way to know if a report already exists in another system so they spend a lot of time searching in multiple systems to find reports – if they can find them at all.

2. Duplication of reports & efforts

Since they cannot find the reports they’re looking for; they end up creating a new report in the one BI tool they are familiar with, without realizing that a similar report already exists in another system. Therefore, users spend more time creating a new report and also make the situation worse by creating more duplicate reports and possibly duplicating the data as well.

Business users are forced to go to multiple different systems to access their reports and dashboards. Users reach out to analysts for any anomalies and exceptions in the data to identify which report they need to explore to discover insights. Thus, BI analysts spend a considerable amount of their time retrieving the data and answering the same question from users on an everyday basis.

One way to overcome these challenges is by consolidating all BI platforms into one place. Thus, users will be able to access all the reports from a centralized location and can get insights on which report to access based on multiple factors like report usage, certified reports, etc.

In order to achieve this, there needs to be a one-stop-shop portal to access all BI systems. You can integrate all your BI systems into one place using a BI portal. Doesn’t that sound interesting?

So, what is a BI portal & what are its key benefit?

  • BI portal boosts data discovery and helps in accessing reports from all BI systems through a single interface.
  • It allows users to search and discover reports and dashboards in seconds.
  • It gives administrators and power users the power to add custom metadata and extend the capabilities of the catalog beyond what is provided by the respective BI platform.

Since a BI portal is a self-service platform, it will help users to derive insights on their own and enable the business analysts to focus on high-value analysis.

BI Hub”, the BI Portal that helps users discover and consume reports in seconds. Users do not need to remember in which BI system the report is residing as BI Hub integrates reports and dashboards from all the BI systems into one unified portal. BI Hub also maintains security, compliance and ensures it maintains the integrity of the BI systems.

Take a look at a quick demo of how a user can quickly access their reports available in different BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, SAP BOBJ reports using BI Hub.

The BI world is undergoing a turbo transition from legacy BI Platforms to modern BI platforms. The underlying reason for this transition is that the modern BI tools are more flexible and agile compared to the legacy platforms. Another huge transition that we could see is the change in the personas. Traditional BI tools were predominantly used by analysts and IT staff providing sophisticated features, which were not accessible by anyone outside this tech-savvy community. Whereas modern BI tools are meticulously breaking the barrier and aiding the BI adoption much easier and effortless as it has been more self-service oriented recently, therefore many different types of employees now use these BI tools, from business analysts to casual users.

Many enterprises are embarking on this journey of transition where they standstill between multiple BI platforms and find it difficult to cope up with this transition.

Do you feel yourself as a kid in a store starring at multiple chocolate boxes, difficult to choose which, when you have piled-up reports and dashboards in front of you? Don’t worry!! You are not alone! Numerous BI users experience this scenario of which BI report to choose from when they have multiple reports from multiple BI platforms. That is where the BI portals come into play!

BI Portals helps to integrate all the BI reports and dashboards from both legacy BI tools and Modern BI tools in one single interface. We know bridging the gap is no less complicated but there are actions you can take to make the consolidation relatively painless.

Choose a Hybrid BI Platform Model

As most of the BI spends are now splurged to cloud solutions there are still businesses that are not able to move their entire operations to a cloud-only model. In such a scenario a hybrid BI platform model can help. A BI Portal can help organizations best fit their needs. Know more about the cloud readiness feature from BI Hub.

Scenario: ABC company has Legacy SAP Crystal reports and is now into Power BI.  With BI Hub they can consume all their reports from a single portal and when the Crystal report is completely replaced by a Power BI report, all they have to do is remove the Crystal report and add the Power BI report and users don’t have to go look for the new report anywhere else.

Provide centralized accessibility to BI Reports

When BI reports get piled up from different BI Platforms it’s really hard to figure out which report to trust and which not to. By providing a single point of entry and by centralizing all BI reports and dashboards into one single portal, it helps us to increase BI report adoption seamlessly. This in turn also helps us to remove duplicate BI reports that get created when these reports are decentralized. Know more about the Easy access feature from BI Hub.

Build a BI environment adhering to Report Governance

One of the key challenges while working in multiple BI systems is to coordinate between different stakeholders’ needs for self-service and to encourage better data stewardship practices. As the number of BI platforms and tools increases, the risks of report inaccuracy, duplication, inefficiency, and proliferation also become apparent. The best way to maintain a multi-platform environment with centralized governance is to use a BI Portal that incorporates all the company’s BI tools making them manageable and accessible from anywhere in the company. The BI & Analytics world is ever-evolving with new BI tools entering the market. When an organization senses that a single BI tool is not meeting their expectations, they seek a hybrid model of having multiple BI tools that best fit their needs. Studies say that most organizations leverage an average of 3+ BI tools because there isn’t one tool that does everything. With thousands of reports scattered across the business, it becomes difficult for a BI user to quickly locate a report or a dashboard.

That is where the game-changer concept of a “BI portal“ comes to play. A BI Portal helps access different BI platforms in to one roof and makes it seamless to search, find and use the report scattered across BI platforms.

BI Hub takes this concept one step ahead in the BI Portal market and helps your organization build a personalized look and feel by matching the portal to your company theme using the Theme Customization feature. Let us see how BI Hub can help you “Brand Your Analytics Journey” in a better way.

This blog will help you dive deeper into the personalization feature offered by BI Hub.

1. The personalization feature is available under the Admin mode only. Login to BI Hub as an Admin and navigate to settings.

6. You can also create new custom attribute based on your need and associate with the reports.

For example, we have created a new custom field ‘Department’ so that we can tag reports to the corresponding department.
