If you are having issues with FrostWire for Android make sure to download 3.1.0 offered in this post, we released it last night, it’s the best we have made and it works fine.

if you are talking about desktop (windows, maxc, linux) we released not too long ago, about a week and a half or so, make sure your firewall/antivirus/internet protection software is not blocking FrostWire from opening or receiving connections, that’s usually the problem, and try other queries, perhaps you are looking for stuff people are not sharing any more, this is a peer to peer network and we have no control of what you do.

Yes it’s been a long time since I was able to Copy And Paste. I know I could with FrostWire 5, but not sure how far or if I could with the early FrostWire 6.

I just saw this email on Windows: frostwire-6.13.1.windows.github.exe. That’s the next one to try out, Yes?

Also Larry, there’s yet another NEW installer for Desktop available 6.13.1, with more fixes on the Cloud Video Downloading side of things.

That’s so weird you can’t copy and paste.
We’ll be taking care of making sure all sources are up, as for the number of seeds per torrent we have no control over what people share and what you search.
When that happens it’s because what you’re trying to download just isn’t being shared anymore by too many people and you just have to keep trying until they come back online.

But I still can’t copy and paste to the Search Box, which makes a pain of having to type in exactly what I need to. Also, I still get the 500 Seeds of Source EZTV, that doesn’t do anything, 99% of the time. Just states ‘try again not enough peers’, 500 isn’t enough?

When I download FrostWire 6.13.0 Build 319 and try to install it I get an error message. ‘FrostWire Launcher Error. FrostWire was unable to load. Please reinstall or download and install FrostWire again.’

I tried it twice. Even the one without github, just the exe.

So I didn’t get anywhere.

I have problems with this version. I can’t copy and paste, so it’s hard to use it smoothly. Also when I see what I’m searching for, I get all these 500 peers EZTV, that don’t download (not enough peers). What the Heck? Also when there’s another smaller amount of peers, it still doesn’t download. This happens a lot of the time. And when a download starts up okay, it dies out before it’s done and just sits there getting nowhere.

So when will there be an update?

Also, as I’m stuck using Frotwire 6.9.5, it limits me to 20 total search results for each search. So do you kn ow when the new update, that fixes what was added in 6.9.6, that’s causing my original problem, that’s still ongoing with 6.9.8? Not allowing copy and paste, to search.

I keep track of Windows Updates. I just checked and nothing new.

As I said, the problem started with 6.9.6, and is still ongoing with 6.9.8. That’s why I have to use 6.9.5.

You don’t need to install Java yourself, FrostWire will install a custom version built for it in the application folder

I’m on Windows 10 as well, we build FrostWire on Windows 10 and I cannot replicate the copy & paste issue. Please make sure you install all pending updates (even the non-critical ones) for your Windows 10.
