I am a passionate developer with a keen interest in creating user-friendly web applications. I love learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
I’m a recent graduate of LaunchCode’s Full Time Web Development course. I also graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a minor in East Asian Studies. I studied and am fluent in the Korean language as well. I spent around six years teaching English as a second language in South Korea, which was an incredible experience that allowed me to develop strong communication, adaptability and creative problem-solving skills.
Upon returning to the United States, I realized I wanted to pursue a different career path—one where I could leverage my creativity, attention to detail, and love for technology. Teaching gave me the opportunity to craft engaging lesson plans using new software and technologies, and that’s when I discovered my passion for web development.
Since then, I’ve been honing my skills in C#, JavaScript, React, ASP.NET MVC, and MySQL. During my time with LaunchCode, I worked on a capstone project called 'Itinerary Designer.' This application is designed to help travelers easily plan itineraries that cater to their specific needs and interests, saving them hours of research. It allows users to log, update, and delete itineraries, while providing clear cost calculations for individuals and groups. The project utilized a tech stack including C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, MySQL and Bootstrap.
I'm excited to bring my skills and experience to a fast-paced, corporate setting where I can continue to grow professionally. I’m particularly eager to further develop my technical abilities while contributing to a team that values innovation and continuous learning.
