One works great. The second not so much. It powered on, synced with the app, tried to do the firmware update, and that is when it locked up, powered off, and will not power back on. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggested on the community board, but nothing is working.

I have emailed several times with no response. I needed this for a very important large meeting next week - how can I get a replacement ASAP?

How about this for an improvement? General I love the addition of the folders feature for categorizing my convos. But as it stands now, there is no way to tell if I’ve moved a convo to a folder or not while in the default view of “All conversations”.

For example, in the attached screenshot, both of these convos are in different folders but there is no way to tell that. There needs to be a folder designation on each convo if it’s in a folder. There’s plenty of room below where the convo time and duration is.

How about this for an improvement? More errors in transcription (audio corrupt) General So more commonly now, the recordings are getting marked as corrupt.

This is the 3rd time i’ve had to resync, 3rd different recording and time.

Is there something that needs tweaking in the transfer process?

This latest time, i had to resync twice and it still says corrupt.

That’s one meeting that may be lost, I’m going to try plugging in via usbc to transfer and see if that helps. I tried wifi and that failed too. The meeting right after this one recorded fine.

Please advise

When first setting up the device, it was struggling to connect. It would repeatedly connect and disconnect from the Pocket device which caused trouble with updating and transferring recordings. I resolved this eventually by resetting the devices and reconnecting it multiple times until it worked properly.

Next, within the app, internet connection seems to be an issue. After recordings are transferred to the app, they sit in the upload queue forever. The only workaround I’ve found for this is to go into the app info panel and specific app settings, force stop the app, and then close it from the app manager, and reopen the app again. This triggers the upload to commence. This internet connection is also an issue when trying to connect to calendars as it cannot grab relevant meetings to attach tot he recording.

No VPN connected to the phone, connected to wifi and mobile network doesn’t matter, only fix has been a force stop AND a close from task manager (app switcher).

Really excited for this device, but these are critical items within the app that are causing frustrations and reducing productivity from the app. Especially if these are mandatory troubleshooting steps that I must inform my team on to use the products.

How do I talk to Pocket and get it to create calendar items, reminders and to do items in Outlook 365. I have searched and read various posts but have not found the answer. Please tell me that I have not just purchased an expensive dictaphone.

How do I turn the Ask Pocket window off? Its annoying to have to minimize it every time I open a Summary entry when using the AppHeypocketCom. I try to blaze through my summaries to move the content to my Daily Reports for work but this window is taking up critical monitor viewing space and have to minimize it. Thus slowing me down.

I wanted to share something I’ve been working on that might be useful to others here.

I built an Obsidian plugin that syncs Pocket dictations directly into your notes. The goal was pretty simple: make it easier to capture thoughts on the fly with Pocket and have them show up automatically in Obsidian for organizing, refining, and actually using those ideas.

As someone who relies a lot on voice-to-text (especially for getting ideas out quickly), this has been a huge quality-of-life improvement for me—less friction between thinking something and turning it into structured notes.

What it does:

  • Syncs your Pocket dictations into Obsidian

Current status:

  • :construction: Plugin is built and working

  • :hourglass_not_done: Waiting on official community plugin approval
