I am using Hue Essentials on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Android device perfectly. Recently I got myself a Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. I can control my lights on my watch using Hue Essentials. But I when I wanted to add hue essentials as a watch complications, the app asked for me to buy wearOS app. So I did. And the phone app says “Purchased”. But when I click on the application throughr my watch, it says I have to purchase wear OS. Is there anything I shoud do?

I need to have more cable distance between the power suply and the hue communication module. It seems that the connector are similar but I’m not 100% sure.

However, I’m having a hard time deciding which one would better suit my needs. My home is fairly large with multiple rooms, long hallways, and a mix of carpets and hard floors. I’m mainly looking for something with strong suction, reliable navigation, and a dustbin system that doesn’t require constant emptying. It would also be great if it could handle pet hair and automatically map different rooms.

I would really appreciate your expert advice — which of these robot vacuums would you recommend for cleaning large homes? Or is there another model I should consider that performs even better for bigger spaces?

Why is my Hue motion sensor not working every time?
Sometimes it turns on all the lights (6 lights)…sometimes it doesn’t. New batteries.

Why are my Hue lights (14 lights) not all coming on with the morning automation? Sometimes all of the lights do come on. Sometimes not all of them wake up.

Why can i not get rid of the ‘dynamic lights’ function in the Hue app? I just want ON/OFF, nothing fancy.

Why do the motion sensor and 4 lights in the bathroom work perfect and is the rest of the house such a nuisance?

I have Hue Essentials installed on my Watch and my Hue Bridge is connected. However, Hue Essentials Complications are not visible when I edit my watch face.

Start the Lights at dusk (± 0 hrs) with dimm 0% - 25%)
Start change the Lights at morning time (dusk + 1 hour) with fade 25% - 50%
Start change the Lights at mid day (dusk + 2 hours) with fade 50% - 100%
Start change the Lights at mid day (dawn - 2 hours) with fade 100% - 50%
Start change the Lights at afternoon time (dawn - 3 hrs) with fade 50% - 25%
Dimm the lights at dawn (± 0 hrs) with fade 25% - 0% and off

My intention is to create an automation independent of winter / summertimme settings so that it always starts with the real dawn and ends with the real dusk.

The developer doesn’t actually have an Nvidia Shield to test with and just assumes all Android platforms implement Bluetooth pairing the same way, however, the Shield does things differently which prevents the lights from being discovered via bluetooth.

Setup:
Rodret + ikea tradfri driver 30W.

Once i just got the 30w driver to pair straight to hue app found it right away, but thats not working anymore.
When i connected the remote it will kick it off Hue app. Ledstrip unavailable.

Is touchLink still working with Bridge Pro?

When i hold the button of the RODRET next to the 30W driver it blinks and at the end it double/ blinks to confirm.

Ive tried Touchlink in Hue essentials app dozens of times and the remote blinks but doesnt give the conformation blinks at the end.

Doing the steps in hue essentials just ends with no bulbs found.

Update:
When i press and hold the RODRET near the 30w driver it always start the direct connection.
When close to the bridge most of the time nothing happens. 4x press for reset and then holding doesnt give the same blinking as with the 30w driver

Got it to pair with Hue app again after reset and leaving it for a few mins 30W driver also has reset button.

Despite the Bridge being perfectly central in the house, I kept getting “Unreachable” in both the devices themselves in the app, and as a message in the Software Update section and the Hive app. The message shows for a few second on one of the indoor bulbs and one of the outdoor bulbs, then disappears.
What is odd, is all the bulbs are within 3 or 4 metres of line-of-sight another bulb, or Smart Plug. I was under the assumption that, being Zigbee, these bulbs extend their own networks, but this doesn’t appear to be happening for me.

Things I have done:
1 - Bought 4 Philips Hue Smart Plugs to use as extenders.
2 - Tried the Smart Plugs in different sockets around the house.
3 - Moved the Bridge (three different places)
4 - Tried moving to channel 11 (was channel 25)

None of these additions or changes has stopped these short random “unreachable” messages.

As I simply am not ready to spend more money on Smart Plugs (I neither want nor need more bulbs), is there anything else I should try before giving up and sending to lot back to Amazon for a refund?

There used to be a LIFX add-on for Kodi that did this but it won’t work past Kodi v18.

Would like to see it one day, if it’s possible.

Not sure why they opted to offer this on the 6” model which is not that popular for homes, bedrooms, etc…and leave out the 4” version. Seems like it can be done, so why skip a size in the line up?

@Philips Hue team - I’ve been literally holding off my renovation project hoping you will finally release these! Trying to hold off and avoid going with another company for my entire setup but you aren’t leaving me too much choice here! Is there any update you can share? Like are you actively working on this, will we see this in the next year, or should we just move on from this idea? It would be nice to know if we should wait it out or simply move on. Thank you!
