On the orders’ summary page (Android app), the percentages after the trade are displayed. They total 110%. Each is calculated without knowledge of the other trades. As InvestEngine trades once a day, the percentages are not relevant.

Basic example:

10,000.57
-5000.55 trade
App displays: 5,000.01 instead of 5,000.02

If the App were consistent in displaying numbers, it would give users more confidence in InvestEngine.

It is a lot of money to me, but I was also planning to transfer another much bigger ISA which matures from a fixed rate account shortly. This communication experience is making me rethink what to do with it.

Does anyone know what the current delays are for the support team responding to these issues? Until now I had had quite a good experience of investing with InvestEngine, but of course it was all automated.

I’ve been an early adopter of InvestEngine, I’m a shareholder and I’ve referred multiple friends and family members to this platform because I believed in the product - so it pains me to write this post.

After exercising the option to cancel my Invest Engine SIPP during the cooling off period I currently have a £20,000 withdrawal in total limbo, and the communication from InvestEngine has been non-existent.

This is the 12th day of waiting for my funds to be returned to my nominated bank account.

InvestEngine has told me that because this is a SIPP the funds were sent to their administrator, Quai, on 2nd April. They are now claiming the money is "not under their control” which is not only extremely concerning but breaching regulatory compliance.

My Advice:

If you are withdrawing large sums, be aware that “Complete” on your dashboard does not mean the money is on its way to you. It just means InvestEngine has passed the buck to a third party.

I have now had to file a Formal Complaint and am escalating to the FCA and Financial Ombudsman. If you’re in a similar boat, don’t just wait—demand a transaction tracking number immediately.

Curious to know if anyone else is invested in this fund which I believed was a ‘safe’ money market type etf ? I’ve had a chunk of cash held here since December 2025 and currently showing a 0.33% loss !

This compares to Amundi Smart Overnight Return (CSH2) which I also hold and over the same timescale is showing a 1.83% gain which is what I’d expect.

Anyone got any ideas why the Xtrackers fund is performing negatively which wasn’t expected ?

I am a single person household, currently mid 40s, therefore, now considering life as such after retirement. I’m new to the world of investments in ETFs. I’m looking to build capital and have income for retirement. So pretty much a 15-20 yr horizon, and to mention I’m quite risk aversed. Currently have a £900 monthly split across a HL SIPP(£500 - 50% split btw sp500 and ftse); and a S&S DIY ISA on Investengine (£400 - 85%ACWI and 15%vaneck SMGb).

would welcome comments on whether this is a reasonable approach to get very decent returns at the end of the 15-20 year mark ?

I prefer not to invest dividends/interest in the same portfolio, i.e., no auto-invest, but decide later. I am wondering if there is an option which can enable all the dividends/interest to go my cash portfolio if auto-invest is disabled? I thought this is how it works in T212.

This translates, as I understand into something e.g. like this:

1st Jan - I invest £ 1000
1st Feb - I invest £ 1000
1st March - At this point my portfolio is worth say £ 2100
I could withdraw £ 2000 tax free, as this was the initial investment.

However, if I mix and match investments and return (like the an old portfolio I own for a decade) the situation becomes blurry. Because it will have a stack of Investment/return/investment/return/investment/etc

Is there any way I can predict the tax due planning to sell “a” given amount from my portfolio? Something that would take into account the FIFO approach and any interest in between?

1- The process is pretty much completed (all the steps are in completed state, but the ETA is 28th April. This was triggered on the 28th March.

I personally find 1 month to transfer this excessive. I mean my ISA is not available on Fidelity any more. Why is 1 month needed on the InvestEngine side?

2- I contacted support via email twice. I never got an answer. Is this normal?

It then asks me to set-up a 4-digit pin - and repeat, which I seem to have to do EVERY time I log in, and then it asks me if I wish to use FaceID - which I do, and it registers this and then I’m in.

But next time, I have to go through this process all over again - is everyone with the iOS app experiencing the same?

I am currently receiving a Police Pension, a Local Government Pension and in the next few days the State pension. I am not employed.

I am thinking of opening a IE SIPP and putting in the proceeds of my house sale (I will be living elsewhere). Am I right in thinking I can put in the current years £60,000 allowance from the proceeds of the house sale and also the previous 3 years, so a total of £240,000 into the SIPP in the first year?

Also, how is this achieved in a practical sense? I imagine the app or website will say £60,000 is my lot. Is there a special way of achieving this? Thanks in advance

I was hoping someone here, more knowledgeable than I, could confirm something for me please.

On the 6th April I will be in the fortunate position to fully utilise my 2026/27 ISA allowance (using VWRP). Furthermore, each month until 1st April 2027, I’ll be saving £4,000 and want to place it into a S&S GIA (VWRL).

Am I right in thinking that I won’t have to complete a self-assessment tax return, if I don’t breach any of the following conditions within the 2026/27 tax year;

*I don’t realize more than £3,000 profit (CGT).

*I don’t realize more than £500 dividends, (ensuring that ERI is included in this figure).

*I don’t sell more than £50,000 in assets.

Please note, I receive a pension and have never been registered for self-assessment.

Confirmation from anyone that the above is correct will put my mind at ease, as otherwise I’ll just put the monthly savings into a standard savings account, however I’d prefer the GIA route personally.
