Either download the raw logs manually or consider enabling debug log artifacts via secret variable or re-running your specific workflow with the Enable debug logging flag.

Unfortunately the Microsoft UserVoice site was purged from existance (i have not seen any publicly available information to explain this in detail). For many years, this was the officially recommended way to engage Microsoft Product Group (PG) teams for feature requests. There were various states of a request that let you know: new items users are submitting -
under review
, probably not going to happen - but PG has recognized the item -
unplanned
, road map items -
planned
, items being worked -
started
or
triaged
that was usually accompanied by a (very) rough guestimate of the timeline for said feature,
completed
items, and the always frustrating
declined
status.

I personally was following 60+ of these items - mostly Azure related. I submitted a handfull of feedback items as I came across various gaps in Azure infrastructure that directly impacted my ability to deliver a viable solution.

Some time around April 2021 microsoft decided to leave the UserVoice platform for a then un-named solution. I captured my distrust of this direction here:

Tread lightly @Microsoft , @UserVoice
Is a single platform across your userbase for voicing concerns/feedback/feature suggestions... the ONLY way to crowdsource communication with your teams. https://t.co/GqWM48GUOf pic.twitter.com/NT5gTDvkZQ
— felickz↙️ (@felickz) April 30, 2021

Then it happened, in September 2021 - uservoice was shut down with no replacement in sight. Microsoft directed to use the Q&A sites for feature requests … felt like if i had done such a thing in StackOverflow my request would have been IMMEDEIATLY flagged and closed as off topic. Generally Q&A sites are reserved for questions - not ideas and bug reports. After a few frustrating reports on Microsoft Q&A I pretty much gave up trying to contact any PG teams for feedback.

Worst has been realized, azure teams now tell you to post to Q&A site for feature requests + all feedback logged is disappeared
— felickz↙️ (@felickz) September 10, 2021

Then in December 2021 - the new UserVoice replacement site was brought online. Judging by the URLs this is a homegrown dynamics365 platform. While much of the feedback and # of votes appears to have been captured, much is missing. The user who submitted feedback and any comments on the feedback is nowhere to be found. Further, any items you were following did not port over to your profile.

Luckilly, I had captured urls for each of the items i was following - making it possible for me to now search the new site based on the url name from the UserVoice site and find all my feedback. I feel like I am back in a good state after 3+ hours of hunting down all my old feedback, giving them new upvotes, following, and commenting if something critical needed to be added. If you know the exact name of the title it is a straight forward search in the new site. Fortunately the name of the title was url encoded in the old UserVoice site!

ex of url change:

I had feared the worst after hearing that disgusting sound of crackling speakers coming from my laptop. My trusty HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx (Amazon open boxer ) personal dev machine had finally let me down. Audio troubleshooting, driver re-install, and forums were a dead end.

Spoiler Alert: all i had to do was disconnect/reconnect the battery and the amp/speakers are playing great again!

The fix

To start off my 2021-2022 holiday vacation, I checked out the handy Maintenance and Service guide and then hopped on ebay to order a set of front speakers that would replace my “blown” ones. Fast forward to when I opened the package and found out that I accidentally picked up the wrong parts (┬┬﹏┬┬). I was in a rush to run out the door to a hockey game, so I threw the screws back into the cover and forgot about the laptop for a few days.

When i went to mess around with some personal learning (Github Advanced Security / log4shell) the machine did not power on … crap. After a few seconds of head spinning I remembered unclipping the battery - I forgot to plug it back in :D. After fixing and booting into Win 11… the startup sound did not crackle the speakers! Playing some tunes confirmed it, the speakers were fixed!

Why the Spectre?

Microsoft got me hooked when they graciously handed out 13” HP Spectre x360 at the Build 2015 event in San Francisco. It is that Christmas morning feeling to hear the keynote announcement that I was getting some nice hardware!

From: build@eventcore.com [mailto:build@eventcore.com]

Subject: Important Build 2015 giveaway information

Build 2015

Dear Chad Bentz,

As you heard in this mornings’ keynote, we’re very excited to provide you with the HP Spectre x360! As you might expect there are some details we need to talk about and rules that we need to make you aware of. Bear with us – it’s the law.

Queuing for distribution of the giveaway starts at 8:00pm Wednesday, April 29, and continues through 3pm Friday, May 1, at the Build Registration Desk on the first floor. Eligible Build 2015 conference attendees may pick up one HP Spectre x360 (total retail value: US$1,099.00). Don’t forget your Build credentials and a picture identification.

This of coarse was the beginning of the end for bad-ass hardware handouts at Microsoft events, but I digress. As soon i got back to the hotel room ( 5 blocks and back alleys of SOMA with 5 nerdy dudes hauling laptops ) I was hopping on the hotel wifi to queue up the download the beta of Windows 10 - saying my condolences to Win8. Fast forward to the plane ride home … this thing in flip the screen mode is a tablet… NOT a laptop anymore!!! No need to stowe when taking off was the perfect way to maximize the viewing time for various sessions i had already downloaded onto the machine for the ride home.

Fast forward a few years - my OG Spectre’s battery is not charging. Opened it up and nothing obvious or easy to access :(. HP Support offered to fix for a hefty fee… whatever i love this thing + got it for “free”!

Warranty Status:	OUT OF WARRANTY

HP is providing the following service for your product.
BOX PLUS PICK UP & REPAIR, 6 DAY DOOR TO DOOR

Total Charges (including tax, if applicable):
*Materials:	$284.99
Labor:	$65.00
Tax:	$21.00
Total:	$370.99

Then one of the strangest things happened, they called me and told me they could not fix it and would ship it back to me with a full refund. Once arrived back, I plugged it back in and got a charging light! Either they had a way to kickstart the laptop, or they snuck me some parts for free - either way i was ecstatic! It is worth noting their support was super nice the whole way … above and beyond level - getting multiple phone calls to keep me updated + even offered me some discounts on future warranty since they “could not fix” this one!

Over the years - my wife and daughter have claimed this machine. This usurping of my Spectre likely started with another flight letting them borrow it as a Plex “tablet”. The OG Spectre still blue screens every month or so with the elusive
WATCHDOG TIMEOUT
. Eventually this forced me to look for a another machine: Enter the
13-ae0xx
. The i5 and 8GB of ram always has me teetering on the edge of acceptable performance for a dev machine, but I make due to keep with the 13” slim convertible form factor.

22” vs 20” OEM wheel options

One of the first “de-modifications” I performed when I started towing regularly was to get rid of my 22” wheels. They are heavier and have a significant decrease in range (for me ~20% reduction), even when not towing. Further, they also have a reduced weight capacity ( though only towing a popup was not an issue for me) along with a harsher ride.

Towing

Towing the camper is much more stressful then anything EV related. Lots of creeks and clunks coming from the camper have you constantly checking camera/mirrors. Most notably the worst scenario:

Planning out your trip with A Better Route Planner can take some of the guesswork out of figuring out far you can go without a stop at a charger. The best way to estimate is to get a good handle of your Wh/Mile and plug those values into the app. I find myself forcing the routes onto side roads if I want to stretch out the trip. I also map out a point of no return such that if I make a specific charger less then my estimated value, I had better stop to play it safe. It is also worth noting that the Tesla nav system does a pretty good job of staying close to ABRP estimates and routes.

Ryobi Electric 100ah Zero Turn Mower RY48ZTR100 Replacement Batteries

Videos

I purchased my 2013 Tesla Model S P85+ used with ~63,000 miles in late 2017. This was my first experience buying a car: #1 sight unseen, #2 online, and #3 from Tesla. All three of those things made for quite the experence! I had been following along cloesly online with how the process would go and therefore none of this was surprising to me in any way. I was immediatly alerted when a Tesla for sale listing hit my specific criteria using my trusty Tesla price scraper EV-CPO Hunter. I got the alert about my unicorn vehicle being available on the drive home from a barbeque. I immediatly pulled over into a Wendy’s parking lot, stared at the listing for 2-3 minutes on my phone, and then clicked the buy button!

Then the wait started… almost exactly at the 12 week mark I picked up my S at my local-ish Tesla Service Center!

The higher milage and vehicle age really healped keep the sale price reasonable for meeting my criteria to purchase. Compared to what the vehicle cost new, I was getting a REALLY good deal. Luckilly Tesla had just rolled out selling higher milage cars (50k+) as Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) that carried a 2 year warranty (as opposed to the lower milage 4 year CPO waranty). In the CPO program, the vehicles were subjected to a detailed inspection process that was later phased out over the years in favor of a less detailed “Tesla Used” certification process. I can attest to this level of detail as I was able to get information (one way or another) that the drive unit was replaced. Further, it was obvious that at least the hood of the vehicle was re-painted as there was quite a bit of overspray on some nuts.

The “CPO” 2 year Warranty WELL worth it for a 2013 Model S! Since 2013 was an early production model year for the Model S many problems surfaced. Items such as the door handles needed to be repaired multiple times to fix long standing issues while parts were being re-designed.
