Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ClipPulse ("we", "our", or "the Service") is an internal tool developed by CEED, K.K. (株式会社Ceed) that collects and aggregates publicly available information from Instagram for trend analysis purposes.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Connected Accounts

When you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account to ClipPulse, we may access:

  • Your Instagram username and profile information
  • Your Instagram Business account ID
  • Access tokens for API authentication

2.2 Information from Public Posts

Through authorized API access, we collect publicly available data from posts including:

  • Post IDs and permalinks
  • Usernames of post creators
  • Post captions and descriptions
  • Timestamps
  • Public engagement metrics (likes, comments, views, shares)
  • Hashtags and other metadata
  • Media URLs (for creating reference artifacts)

2.3 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service:

  • Search queries and instructions submitted
  • Timestamps of Service usage

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Retrieve and aggregate publicly available trend data from social media platforms
  • Generate spreadsheet reports for internal analysis
  • Store reference artifacts (video files or watch links) in Google Drive
  • Improve the Service's functionality and user experience

4. Third-Party Services

ClipPulse integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Meta (Instagram Graph API) - For retrieving Instagram post data
  • OpenAI - For natural language processing of user instructions
  • Google (Apps Script, Drive, Sheets) - For hosting, storage, and output generation

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Collected data is stored in Google Drive and Google Sheets within your organization's Google Workspace
  • API credentials and tokens are stored securely in Google Apps Script's Script Properties
  • We do not sell or share collected data with third parties for marketing purposes

6. Data Retention

Data collected through ClipPulse is retained in your Google Drive until you choose to delete it. You may delete any spreadsheets or Drive folders created by the Service at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data collected through your use of the Service
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your social media accounts from the Service
  • Revoke API access permissions at any time through the respective platform settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
