ClearCoin Core is the original ClearCoin client and it builds the backbone of the network. However, it downloads and stores the entire history of ClearCoin transactions; depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more. Thankfully you only have to do this once.

The following are some helpful notes on how to run ClearCoin Core on your native platform.

Unpack the files into a directory and run:

• bin/clr-qt (GUI) or
• bin/clrd (headless)

Unpack the files into a directory, and then run clr-qt.exe.

Drag ClearCoin-Qt to your applications folder, and then run ClearCoin-Qt.
