While using the NPSP Pause feature below are the issues we encounter.
These are Salesforce-related bugs that need to be addressed as soon as possible, as they are preventing donations and payments from being paused synchronously.
List of Issues:
USE CASE A :
Consider a pledge having multiple open opportunities:
When Pausing a pledge from today to any month of this year i.e. 17 July 2024 - Everything is as expected i.e. upcoming opportunity close date changes to August 2024.
But while unpausing, the close date remains same i.e. August 2024 but it should be April 2024
Expected: The close date of the most recent opporunitty should be back to April 2024.
USE CASE B:
Considering today is 7 March 2025
1st Point: Trying to pause pledge with current month donation as the last donation (close date = 7 Mar 2025). The current month donation contains 2 payments: 1 failed and 1 awaiting payment. Pause Start Date between 7 Mar 2025 - 6 May 2025.
[ISSUE ]:
The issue is in the payment schedule date in the May 2025 donation. The Awaiting payment schedule date is still set to 7 Mar 2025 instead of 7 May 2025.
2nd Point: Trying to pause pledge current month donation(close date = 12 Mar 2025), and the next month donation (12 April 2025) is pre-existing . The current month donation contains 2 payments: 1 failed and 1 awaiting payment. Pause Start Date between 12 Mar 2025 - 12 Jun 2025.
[ISSUE]:
A. The first issue is Apr 2025 donation still there, not included in pause even though the Upcoming installments said the otherwise.
B. The second issue is in June 2025 donation. The Awaiting payment schedule date is still set to 12 Mar 2025 instead of 12 Jun 2025:
