  • Systems + infrastructure (practical, not theoretical)
  • Build, run, and debug things that are supposed to scale

What do I want to do?

  • Make complex things simple
  • Make simple things reliable
  • Make reliable things fast
  • Make fast things scale

Philosophy (ft. zen mode)

  • Keep systems simple before scalable
  • Optimize only when it actually matters
  • Prefer understanding over abstraction
  • If it works, is affordable, fast enough, and maintainable — leave it alone
