#####Today's jumble
Gathering some information on the creation dates of subreddits, so you don't have to.
The earliest subreddit after which IDs are consistently incrementing is /r/234 at 2qh0j. There are about 4.6 million ID numbers between 0 and 2qh0j which do not correspond to a subreddit.
Some subreddits are not properly marked as NSFW. This is either the fault of the moderators or, in some cases, the data was collected while the subreddit was brand new.
02 November 2014: Finally decided to start measuring subscribers. Numbers will be wrong for quite some time.
07 November 2014: 2009, 2010, and 2011 complete!
08 November 2014: 2012 and 2013 complete!
09 November 2014: 2014 up-to-date!!!!
24 December 2014: Massive speed boost - I just learned about sql INDEX; and I've also added a column to the table where subreddit IDs are stored in integers instead of b36 strings. Together, these changes make updates go like 20x faster. Why have I waited so long?
18 February 2015: Database is now TOO BIG for github! ZIP is provided in its place. The db is now tracking subreddit_type and submission_type to help detect spam. This has put the file over the allowed 100 megabyte limit. I'll probably forget to re-zip it on every commit but I'll do my best.
03 October 2015: I'm starting to migrate to Git LFS for storing the big stuff. All of the /show/ text files are now using the extension "vdump" so that they can be registered to lfs without interfering with any other text files I use. They are still text files.
