<p align="left" class="STYLE21">The ICPTO 2018 is mostly about recent research advances in polynomial and tensor optimization. This area has received substantial interests from pure and applied mathematicians, scientists and engineers. The research involves various techniques from linear and multilinear algebra, convex analysis, optimization, real algebraic geometry, and other related fields. Tensor optimization gives new impetus to polynomial optimization, while advances in polynomial optimization provide new tools for solving tensor optimization. To advance the research on polynomial and tensor optimization, the conference is going to edit a special issue in the journal “Computational Optimization and Applications (COAP)”. Participants of ICPTO 2018 are encouraged to submit their high quality papers to this special issue. To be eligible for being considered of publication, the topics of submitted papers should focus on optimization problems about polynomials and tensors. A paper whose main topic is not about optimization, or is not about polynomials and tensors, will be returned to the authors without review. Submissions to this special issue are not guaranteed to be accepted for publication. The submitted articles will be refereed rigorously according to the high standard of the journal COAP. The deadline of submission is March 31, 2019.</p>
