Open API ("we", "our", or "us") is an API debugging tool designed to help developers test and manage API requests. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
- API Requests: We process API requests you create (URLs, headers, body content, authentication credentials) locally on your device
- Collections & History: Request collections and history are stored locally on your device
- Environment Variables: Variables and their values are stored locally on your device
- Usage Statistics: Anonymous usage data to help improve the app (opt-out available)
- Crash Reports: Error information to help fix bugs
- Analytics: We may use third-party analytics tools to understand app usage patterns
- Local Storage Only: All your API data is stored locally on your device
- Storage Location: Data is stored in the app's local sandbox directory on your device
- No Cloud Sync: We do not upload your request data to our servers
- iCloud/Cloud Backup: If you use iCloud backup, your app data may be included in your device backup
- Data Retention: We retain your data only until you delete it manually or uninstall the app
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. However, the app may use third-party services:
- Analytics: Anonymous usage data may be processed by analytics providers
- Error Tracking: Crash reports may be sent to error tracking services
- API Requests: The app may make API requests to services you are testing, which are governed by privacy policies
