Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all contributors and community members, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We believe in building a supportive community around DuoHacker where everyone feels respected and valued.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Being professional - Keep discussions focused on the project and technical matters

  • Assuming good intent - Approach discussions charitably

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
  • Offensive comments related to protected characteristics
  • Personal attacks or insults
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Publishing others' private information (doxxing)
  • Spam or promotional content unrelated to the project
  • Attempting to manipulate or deceive other members
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Using DuoHacker Responsibly

While DuoHacker is a fun automation tool, we ask that users:

  • Respect Duolingo's Terms of Service - Use the tool responsibly and ethically
  • Don't abuse the platform - Avoid actions that could harm Duolingo or its community
  • Keep accounts safe - Use generated accounts responsibly and legally
  • Report abuse - If you see someone using DuoHacker maliciously, let us know

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for enforcing this code of conduct. They have the right and responsibility to:

  • Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, and other contributions that violate this code
  • Temporarily or permanently ban contributors or community members who engage in inappropriate behavior
  • Take action against accounts used for harassment or abuse

Reporting Issues

If you witness or experience a violation of this code of conduct:

  1. Report to maintainers - Email or DM project maintainer directly
  2. Report on Discord - Use #report channel if you're in our Discord community
  3. Provide details - Include specific incidents, usernames, and context
  4. Confidentiality - Your report will be handled with discretion and care

We take all reports seriously and will investigate appropriately.
