Pyhton ivi is a great library that is now quite long in the tooth, but still has many forks under active development with many added instruments. Python features have also progressed. Depreciating some used features in this library and adding others that would be very useful.

It has been 7 years since the last update and there are many open pull requests that is limiting attempts/pull requests to add instrument functionality back into the master branch for all to use.

Would you consider passing this library into a different maintainer who can continuously make this library better?
