Latest Firefox 118.0.2 64 bit macos arm64, latest extension 0.5.2

When opening Firefox, the extension icon has "red" color, which means that manual proxy is in use. But when you click on the icon you see that there is no proxy enabled:

Toggling to Auto Detect and back to Direct fixes the icon

Actual result: wrong icon of manual proxy on start while no proxy enabled

Expected result: should show black icon for direct connection
