This is an annual competition organized by SpaceX, inviting university students and
independant engineering teams to design and build the best Hyperloop pod.
It is a two part contest. The first part of the contest is Design Weekend, which is held at Texas
A&M University. Teams showcase the Hyperloop pod designs which are judged by SpaceX
engineers and university professors.
Selected teams then move onto the final phase of the competition where they have the
opportunity to test their pods on a one-mile Hyperloop test track (will be made a 10 mile track
soon) near the SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

This competition, launched by the Young Architect Competitions, aims at designing a new test
center for the Hyperloop technology in the heart of the Nevada desert, a few kilometers away
from Las Vegas. A cash prize of € 15,000 will be awarded to the winners selected by an
outstanding jury panel made of renowned personalities such as Kazuyo Sejima, Winy Maas,
Ben van Berkel, Nicola Scaranaro, Carlo Ratti and many more.

The Hard Tech Fund, founded at UC Davis, is an organization dedicated to the development of renewable and sustainable infrastructure for new transportation paradigms. The organization especially focuses on the development of the Hyperloop concept through events and programs that provide resources and reviews of Hyperloop related projects.
Hyperloop IITB recently presented their research paper at the Hyperloop Research Symposium and was voted the Best Paper and Presentation in the Propulsion category.

European Hyperloop Week is an international event aiming to integrate the Hyperloop community- students, industry, and academia- in order to bring the concept of Hyperloop closer to reality. It is a competition- cum- collaboration forum that will take place in Valencia, Spain in July 2021.

Indian Hyperloop Pod Competition or IHPC, hosted by IIT madras, is the first Hyperloop pod competition to be held in India. It will be a global competition, attracting Hyperloop teams from across the world to compete. It is expected to be conducted in early 2021.
With this competition, the Indian student community embarks on the journey of promoting and bringing successful amends to this technology.
Hyperloop IITB is preparing for the competition and will start working on the design as soon as the final dates of the competition are released.
