Both "diff mode" and display of any data column with negative numbers are broken.

• Latest dataset/lookup code needs to be merged with diff mode code
• double-ended color palettes don't always have zero at the center
• Solid red/blue instead of shades might be nice too
• Normalization should work
• Legend and tooltips
• Negative numbers mess up calculations of normals, maxes, kinda everything
