Hi, I’m Taujor (Jordan Tauscher), an independent developer and the creator of PHPSSG, a static site generator written in pure PHP and Eis.js an immutable, tiny, framework-agnostic state store for the web.

I’ve built my career and knowledge entirely thanks to the open-source community. Everything I know today comes from people who shared their work freely, and I take it as my responsibility to give back in the same spirit.

As a husband and father of two, I want to build a better life for my family in a way that reflects my values. I believe software should create opportunity; monetization should exist only in addition to open software. The software itself must be transparent, so it never stands in the way of education and progress. It should be something others can learn from and build upon. Opensource is the clearest expression of that belief. Together we stand on the shoulders of giants.

That's why I decided to go independent and write the code I believe needs to be written, with the ultimate goal of contributing towards a more open, repairable, and collaborative future.
