Fighter Scope (Technologies : MERN Stack)

Boxing matches occur worldwide, often causing confusion due to the various time zones in each country. Fighter Scope alleviates this confusion by displaying the remaining time until the sporting event in days, hours, and minutes. With real-time updates, boxing fans no longer need to calculate the time left until a match, sparing them the headache of time zone conversions.

Technical Features

  • Executed a comprehensive web development project, including competitor analysis, UX/UI design using Figma, front-end and back-end development, database setup, and deployment.
  • Used bcrypt and session to identify user account and safely store the user information.
  • Implemented the consistent front-end using Material UI and achieved responsiveness using CSS media queries.
  • Designed a RESTful API to proficiently handle the creation, retrieval, updating, and deletion of data on the website
