Can we request that buffering is turned on for the connections from the Smartlinx server? We discussed the size of the buffer and I think you agreed that up to one day of buffering would be safe. Shall we start perhaps with 6 hours? This gives us plenty of time to bring our listener down for maintenance.

You offered to configure a one-minutely watchdog message; this would be very useful so we can monitor whether the feed has gone down. Would it specify which beds are enabled in the watchdog message?

Also confirming that the setting to require HL7 ACKs will stay switched off.
