<p>Welcome to the homepage of Maxime Bombrun <br> I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and currently hold a Data Scientist position in the Data Analytics Team of Scion in Rotorua, New Zealand. <br> I am currently not looking for a new position in Image Processing & Analysis. However, I am looking for a challenging project in which I will be able to applied the knowledge I developed through the Geo- and the Bio-Imaging. <br> I am also curious about new domains of application for image analysis such as astronomy and oceanography. <br> Here, you will find information about my main research interests, my teaching activities and some personal information.

<li>Designed a novel method to segment and parameterise volcanic plumes on thermal videos. </li>
<li>Developed an algorithm to detect multiple change points in 2D radiometer data. </li>
<li>Worked on a new process to detect hot spots in satellite imagery.</li>

The aim of this project was to improve the understanding of the nucleid organisation and the spatial
distribution of the DNA repair center. Due to the large amount of data involved, I translated the
existing codes in Java. Then, I developed an algorithm to segment, track and register nucleid
through time.
