Yup that the correct location. We set the chart version from the git tag on publish and normally don't bother updating them in the chart.
Generally out support / maintanance of the apps in the demo-targets is pretty lacking :(
They are supposed to only be used for demonstrations so we don't update them in the same frequency as our other components. If you have any fixes or improvments for them, we'd merge then of course 🙌
