Harry Ainlay High School Pre-enrolment update for 2026-2027

(As of April 8, 2026)

As of March 25, 2026 we have exceeded our optimal enrollment limit for all grade levels for next year.

For all current resident students who pre-enrolled by the March 25 deadline, you have been accepted, if:

you reside in our attendance area.

you are continuing in French Immersion programming.

you have a sibling continuing at Harry Ainlay for the 2026-2027.

Therefore, all resident students going into grade 10 and 11 next year, who live outside of our attendance area, will be part of a Division supervised random selection process. These students will be personally contacted by phone regarding the results of this process no later than April 17, 2026.

For students going into grade 12 next year, we are only able to accommodate current Harry Ainlay students and resident students in our attendance area. All non-resident and resident students living outside of our attendance area will not be accepted. These students will be personally contacted by phone no later than April 17, 2026. We will no longer be accepting any new registrations from outside of our attendance area for 2026-2027.

Any students that were successful in the random selection process and need to choose courses for the upcoming school year, please attend the appropriate session in the school library:

Current EPSB Students - Tuesday, April 14 from 3:30-5:30pm

Non EPSB Students - Wednesday, April 15 from 3:30-5:00pm

Harry Ainlay will only be accepting new registrations for the 2026-2027 school year for students who move into our attendance area after March 25, 2026.

For students new to Edmonton Public Schools, please use the online registration link for registration information and to complete the digital student registration form.
