Cash Balance on Audius

Your cash balance is used to buy and sell content on Audius. You can immediately withdraw your cash balance from Audius to your bank account or external crypto wallet at any time. Under the hood, cash balances are stored as USDC on the Solana blockchain, which enables fast, low-cost, and transparent transactions. When you sell music or top up with a credit/debit card, funds arrive instantly.

Withdrawing Your Cash Balance

To a Bank Account

1. Go to www.audius.co/wallet
2. Click the Withdraw button.
3. Enter the amount (minimum $5) and choose Bank Account, then click Continue.
4. Provide your email, country, and required banking details.
5. You'll get a confirmation email once the withdrawal is initiated.

To an External Wallet

1. Go to www.audius.co/wallet
2. Click the Withdraw button.
3. Enter the amount you'd like to withdraw and select Crypto.
4. Paste the destination Solana wallet address and click Continue.
5. Carefully review your transaction details and Confirm.
6. You're done! You'll receive an email containing a link to view the transaction details on the Solana blockchain.

Adding Funds to Your Cash Balance

With a Credit/Debit Card

1. Go to www.audius.co/wallet
2. Click the Add Cash button.
3. Select Credit/Debit Card and click Continue.
4. Enter the amount you wish to add and click Continue.
5. Fill in your card details and submit.
6. You'll get a confirmation email once the top-up is successful.

By Transferring from an External Wallet

1. Go to www.audius.co/wallet
2. Click the Add Cash button.
3. Select USDC Transfer and click Continue.
4. Copy your Audius USDC (Solana) address or scan the QR code.
5. Send funds from your external wallet to this address.
6. Your funds should appear in your account after a few moments.

$AUDIO is Audius' native coin. Holding $AUDIO unlocks VIP tiers and perks like feature access, custom themes, and exclusive badges.

Buying $AUDIO

1. Go to www.audius.co/coins/AUDIO
2. Click the Buy/Sell button.
3. Select Buy, enter how much you want to spend (in USDC), then click Continue.
4. Carefully review your transaction details, and Confirm.
5. Your cash balance will instantly be converted to $AUDIO (powered by Jupiter).

Selling $AUDIO

1. Go to www.audius.co/coins/AUDIO
2. Click the Buy/Sell button.
3. Select Sell, enter the amount of $AUDIO you'd like to sell, and click Continue.
4. Carefully review your transaction details, and Confirm.
5. You'll see your cash balance update immediately (powered by Jupiter).

Sending Tokens

The Send flow lets you send $AUDIO or other supported Solana tokens to another Audius user or an external wallet address. USDC is not supported in this flow.

1. Go to www.audius.co/coins/AUDIO and click Send.
2. Select your sending wallet: either your Built-in Wallet or a connected third-party wallet.
3. Use the token picker to select the token you want to send, and enter the amount.
4. Choose a recipient type:
   • User: Search for an Audius user by name or handle.
   • Wallet: Enter a Solana destination address directly.
5. Click Continue, review your transaction details, and confirm.

Receiving $AUDIO

1. Go to www.audius.co/coins/AUDIO
2. Click the Receive button.
3. Copy your $AUDIO (Solana) address or scan the QR code.
4. Send funds from your external wallet to this address.
5. Your funds should appear in your account after a few moments.
