I made a pretty successful gluten-free dinner tonight! Roasted red potatoes with fresh rosemary, thyme, and garlic to accompany salmon rubbed with a mixture of black pepper, sea salt, roasted ginger, and celery salt. I love fish but have never been confident in my ability to cook it. Today was a success, though I think I'll use less sea salt next time. I also think salmon is my favorite fish. I have a pound of tilapia for a fish stew tomorrow. And these white cheddar corn puffs are amazing. 65 per serving! Best. Thing. Ever. Tied with the gluten-free lemon wafers I found at Walmart.

Life with Duncan is good. It would be great if not for the business he and our roomie, Ronnie, started up with his father. No one has made a dollar so far, and Duncan's father calls him screaming that his daughter doesn't have toothpaste...! But of course he has enough money for a case of beer. I love Duncan so much, but I hate that his family has to be this permanent part of my life that I deal with almost every day because of this business. I don't like the effect it's having on him, and I wish he would at least see a therapist to talk to someone objective. I just get angry at the way his family is treating him. He won't, though. He's one of those people who don't at all understand that kind of thing.

I think I'd like to start drawing again with my pad. It's been too long, and I think it could be just the therapy I need right now. Here's a picture I've been working on slowly beneath the cut!

So sad Sarah Connor Chronicles isn't getting another season. I was really hoping to see Summer as Allison and her interaction with John in the future. At least they renewed Dollhouse? It got really good at the end. Alan Tudyk especially was made of pure win. ( SPOILER ALERT FOR DOLLHOUSE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST, TWO EPISODES )

Plopped back into the world of RP. Had kind of a rough week, so I tried to get back into things today to help keep my mind on other things besides the struggles. I'm also having trouble with keeping my hair looking as good as it did when the guy styled it. I'm really no good with hair and stuffs. I need a stylist or something, lol.

Be thar any memes out there right now or anything? I'm bored as a fish. Because I'm sure fish are bored.

Also went to see Terminator Salvation. Only got a little ways into it. It was kind of slow, and just as it was getting good? Someone pulled a knife on someone else, and that someone else sprayed said knife-wielder with mace. Right next to us. So, I was all sorts of uncomfortable and coughing with watery eyes. Half the theater left before the rest of it was evacuated. We were given free tickets and no one was stabbed at least?

Anyways, at that point, I really wasn't keen on staying, so we went to Walmart to pick up cheap-O headsets and a nice, cute, new tank top for me. Much nicer than getting sprayed with mace.

Is it really bad that I'm listening to Adam Lambert's studio version of Mad World over and over again? I know American Idol is ~trendy-trendy~ and all that, and trendy things are totally uncool, but I looooooooooooooooooove it. If only I had a schlong, I would do him. Or let him do me. Or.

Well, I'm drunk. I should quit while I'm ahead. Mayhaps it is a good thing I didn't go to see Star Trek with Ray. I would've been like "IDK MY BFF SYLARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" the entire time while making buzzsaw noises.
