Hot blooded, inspired, energetic, and romantic – we do dream of all the possibilities in our early 20s.
As you put it simply – ‘universe doesn’t care’.

I liked the lines – “21 year old Paras, you had gumption and bravado to make world domination plans. Your 30 year old self has quiet, confident determination to make a definitive difference in the world by choosing a few areas and doubling down on what he does best”

Cheers!

Also People need real value, if they get a valuable help and care, they definately noticed you.

(And yes I would say this in person as well)

Comment on Welcome to India: a land where passion comes to die by Sadik https://invertedpassion.com/welcome-to-india/#comment-2438 Thu, 01 Mar 2018 13:42:06 +0000 http://paraschopra.com/blog/?p=1033#comment-2438 @Paras I have been following you on Twitter for a few days now. Thanks for writing this. Some of us are so exasperated that we don’t even want to bother any more trying… There is one simple reason for ALL our ills. Education. Yes Education, period. We either have no education, OR superstitions being taught in the name of education OR Rot learning for some silly paper degrees. What India needed three decades ago was a comprehensive nation wide policy and implementation on a war-footing of “Critical Thinking” in Education. Think of “The Trivium” in classical education. How many out of the 1.2 Billion Indians have learnt formal logic? Heck how many can even define a logical postulate? Who even understands the difference between a rhetorical statement and a factual statement?

It’s no wonder that any Tom, Dick or Harry politician or religious or cult leader takes millions for a ride. The present situation, I am afraid, is continuing on a rapidly declining downward slope. The sillitards in our govt recently came up with the magic number of “50% reduction in syllabus”. And we have the highest voices in the country echoing ancient vayuyaans and prehistoric cosmetic surgeries… The silliness is so tragic it is funny… You can really do nothing but laugh. Indians accept mediocrity because they don’t know any better. They don’t know any better because well, they don’t know. They haven’t learnt and there is no system of teaching…

Comment on Welcome to India: a land where passion comes to die by Abhas Bhattacharya https://invertedpassion.com/welcome-to-india/#comment-2437 Thu, 01 Mar 2018 02:38:00 +0000 http://paraschopra.com/blog/?p=1033#comment-2437 I completely get the soul of the article, but it feels too biased for my taste. The stats are definitely not correct (no global brands, 1/7th = almost 20%, really?) and somehow I don’t see how Michelin stars can be a parameter for excellence of a country.

I agree with your view on mediocracy, but I would enjoy a more balanced view.

Comment on What is freedom? by ananthi https://invertedpassion.com/what-is-freedom/#comment-2166 Thu, 22 Feb 2018 11:44:11 +0000 http://paraschopra.com/blog/?p=836#comment-2166 When it come to freedom of love equality in caste gender and everything and there should not be any roadblock in love. Love is giving people the freedom to be the way they are not trying to make them the way you want. Love is giving freedom to others.

But, in all seriousness, posts like this, public or private, are important to see how much you’ve changed (or didn’t).

My 2cts: I think you should still do a 4 by 40 list, or you take the risk of forgetting the dreamer that is in you.

You have charged everything you fashioned in the breathe of your own spirit (Khalil Zibran on ‘Work’, The Profet), so ‘Wingify’ has become you and you have become ‘Wingify’.

Looking forward to read your next…

May Jupiter’s light shine on you!
