Hey, I’m Jonatan Jansson, though most people online know me as dotMavriQ.

I’m a developer, musician, reader, and open-source advocate from Sweden, based in Portugal.
I spend my days building tools, trekking, playing bass, reading ideas, and cooking with my partner.

I believe in self-reliance, openness, and human-centered technology.
My work focuses on making software more ethical, efficient, and empowering — tools that serve people first, not platforms.

I build free and open-source tools because I believe technology should amplify human ability, not extract from it.
When knowledge and code are shared freely, we all move faster — not toward profit, but toward agency, understanding, and self-reliance.
Open source is how I give back to the same collective curiosity that taught me everything I know.

Most of my projects are released under the MIT License, though I also contribute under GPL when collaboration demands it.

• 🎨 Adminer-Gruvbox – A Gruvbox-inspired theme for Adminer.
