The start of it all
Create-ive Cogs was our first project. Beginning in 2021, it was managed alone by Canada, until Katze joined the team in 2023. Since then, our team has grown to 5, out of a desire to expand and improve the server for its sixth season, Which is set to open soon!
Create-ive Cogs is a modpack and server based around the Create mod, running in the Forge modloader.
The server runs on a season system, being reset every 8-16 months. This allows changes to the game version and mod list, as well as newer players a chance to start with everyone else. The server also has a voting system, allowing members to recommend mods to add, if approved by members of both the community and the team.
Its first season starting in July 2021, the server has enjoyed four more (mostly) successful seasons since then, placing us in the 100+ range of users across the 5 seasons. A sixth is in development, and will be open to the public soon!
