I’m big into retro gaming and collecting, and I love to tinker with old computers, CRT monitors, and other vintage hardware. I stream retro games on Twitch for fun.

Status

A list of things I'm currently working on, watching, or playing. Last updated March 29th 2026.

  • Working on REST APIs that power some new admin interfaces. A mix of PHP and React.
  • Watching The Rookie. No other shows are grabbing me right now!
  • I've been playing through the Mega Man series on PlayStation 1. I haven't played all of the MMX games yet.
  • Fixing my CRT monitors (recapping). A Microvitec CUB and a 10" consumer set. I removed the anode caps and survived!

Recently done

  • Dabbling with AI dev tools. Recently found Conductor useful, which excels at simple/tedious tasks in parallel.
  • I beat Azure Dreams on the PS1. It was a long JRPG, and I enjoyed it. I don't play this genre often.

Coming up

  • Travelling to Spain and the Netherlands. I'm always nervous when it comes to travelling so this is on my mind.
  • 3 month sabbatical this summer since this is my 10th year at Automattic!
  • The big 40. Feels bad man.
