> Hey gents - thanks for the great show. I'm just getting started with Home Assistant - what wisdom can you impart on a newcomer to this DEEP rabbit hole? Also, what communication protocol did you choose to build out your home with (i.e. Z-wave vs. Zigbee)?

> Hearing about the ATOM Echo, it's push button activatio and being the size of a thumbnail, I could help but wonder if it could be hacked into a Star Trek communicator badge, so that you have a mic where ever you wander indoors. Seeing its actually size and it maybe hard to do, but could be a fun project, especially if you could get it to respond in "the computers" voice!!

> Tailscale sounds awesome, but scares the crap out of me. Outsourcing my access/control plane to an external provider is absolutely terrifying. I've looked at Headscale, but due to the limitations of it only being able to use a single Tailnet, it just seems a bit useless for me compared to my existing multi-Wireguard net setup and they said they will not add the functionality for more Tailnets due to that conflicting with Tailscales product and the maintainer of Headscale working for Tailscale...
