> I was listening to my totally amazing members feed that I am extremely grateful for you guys providing. But, I couldn’t boost, so I came over here to first remind people they need to boost AND become members. But really, I wanted to say that I would happily pay $99 per year for Immich, especially if it meant others in the community benefited whether they could pay or not. That’s what drew me into Open Source, it’s always that tide that lifts all boats, when it doesn’t it typically fails.

> this is probably a non starter but for server bills Id recommend reconsidering matrix. Synapse is a mess of python and is gobbling up resources like no tomorrow! I dunno if the go implementation is prod ready. Move to nostr backed chat???

> Chris: set your pi hole as secondary dns server and have LAN clients use that as their primary. For offline messaging, maybe setup a matrix home server inside lady jupes or use a list in Home Assistant that you populate via its “Assist” functionality

> please make show notes with links to the programs/application/hardware you mention in the episodes. newbie and non-native english speaker here. it would realy help to have links with right spelled projects in the shownotes. sometime the phonetics does not cut it for searching. that would realy ad value to the podcast.
