Francis Hit a bump in the road w/Contacts on NextCloud...


About moving away from Google. I have been thinking about doing the same thing for the past couple of years and have finally spun up a Nextcloud instance on Linode (receive $100 60-day credit towards a new account:)

I have moved my google calendar over with very little difficulty. However, my contacts has been another story... whenever I edit a contact on my Samsung, nextcloud removes the data related to the contact's group. The contact looks fine on the phone but when I log into nextcloud the contact does not have a group anymore. I was hoping Brent had any idea or info as to what is going on?
Admittedly I got nervous something would go wrong and so I have gone back to google for my contacts for the time being.
