Listener Mike is worried about Holodiction

I was really intrigued listening to you guys talk about uses for VR that extend past gamers, and it was interesting. My experience and interest in VR has been very minimal during the past few years. But recently I've tried a friends Oculus 2 and was pretty impressed by how far it's come.

Then I heard you guys talkign about how meetings are even nicer on there, being on a plane in VR, or even having a VR office and coding in there.... whoah..

At the risk of sounding like the dad in the room, are you guys at all worried about the possible addictive nature of VR? The small amount of VR I did was so immersive it was honestly disorienting to come out of it. I'm old enough to remember a world before smartphones, and now we're all hopelessly addicted to them. What will VR do?

I'm reminded of Jeff Goldblum's quote in Jurassic park where he says:

“Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.”

Thoughts?
