Fired in Seattle's Last Day at Microsoft

Hey Mike and Chris, I can't believe I ever doubted you. I am FUMING right now. After EIGHT YEARS at Microsoft, I was laid off today. When you first said layoffs were coming, I brushed it off and thought "not me, not my team." But here I am, jobless and feeling like a complete fool.

I put years of my life into my work at Microsoft, and for what? So they can pump $10 billion into OpenAI and then turn around and lay off people from the gaming divisions? It's a complete kick in the teeth.

And don't even get me started on the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. $68.7 billion?! Are you kidding me? But yet, here I am, getting the boot. It makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.

I'm still trying to figure out what my next move will be, but let me tell you, it's a bitter pill to swallow when the company you've devoted so much to can't even show you the same loyalty in return.

Make it make sense guys.
