Justin Asks... Is the industry at risk by going all in on Pis?

I love the show and it has felt like finding "my people" when it comes to technology.  One thing I've wondering lately is if the industry is relying too much on Raspberry Pi's as the core of so many products.  One company controls the supply and the project roadmap.  Are their other arm boards that could potentially be used in some of these products?
