Corey wants to get social, without social media...

Hey! Longtime listener and even longer time self-hoster; love the show(s)! I particularly enjoy getting to hear about all the other software/tools that folks have made that fill a niche hole in their life.

With more things online-only, in-person interactions are getting to be more sparse. I've found lately I need to put a conscious effort into keeping up with friends/family, checking in from time to time and/or even taking notes about something they've mentioned to follow up on.

I was curious if anyone had a tech solution for this. Some sort of 'contact management' sort of thing where you could make notes about a project/vacation they mentioned so you could ask them about it later or even reminders like "Yo, you haven't talked to X in 4 weeks, maybe check in on them?" or "You noted they were going on vacation, ask how it went?".


Perhaps it sounds a bit dumb, but I think I could put it to use! Especially after college/school when friends split up and head to different parts of the world, it's easy to let time slowly come between each other. WDYT?
