Mike R has made some handy guides for devs wanting to target the M1+ hardware
Hope you're both doing well! I've been a listner of JB since Late 2010/Early 2011. I'm writing in to talk about M1 Max experience. I'll keep it simple I was pleased with my M1 Mac Macbook purchase but wasn't blown away like most YouTube reviews would have you believe that the M1 macbook be some "Godly" device. I think what did was Apple did was very special but it comes with the headaches of macOS in some use cases depending on your workflow of course. That along with spending another $50-100 to buy apps to make macOS more usable in my option. Also battery life on the M1 Max is okay in my day-to-day workflow I'm geting between 5-6 hours of use before I have to plug-in into the outlet. Anyways, love the show and depending on when you read this Happy Holidays to you both!
P.S.
If your guys our interested I made an Apple Silicon Guide a couple of weeks ago. It's not perfect and still needs a lot of work but I thought I'd share to see if you guys or anyone else would find it useful. This is just 1 of 200 guides(all guides are CC 4.0) organized by categories on my very minimal website(https://mikeroyal.github.io/).
