Mike R has a Windows 11 Local Account Workaround
Hi Chris and Mike,
I want to talk about two things the Fix for Windows 11 Local Accounts and the Steam Deck.
First, I have a fix for creating a Local user account on Windows 11 Home and Pro editions. It's a simple 3 step process(though I expanded it to 5 steps for novice users) that takes 10 seconds to apply. So far I have tested it on several Windows 11 Home devices for the past 3 months and tested it last week on a Windows 11 Insider Build for Pro all tests were successful. Here's the link to the section in my Windows 11 Guide on GitHub. https://github.com/mikeroyal/Windows-11-Guide#Creating-a-Local-Account-on-Windows-11-Home-and-Pro
Now to end on some positive news I got my conformation email this week from Valve that my Steam Deck will be arriving March 21st just in time for me to take it to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco where I'll get to meet with some engineers from Valve and other game developers as well. I want the Steam Deck to be successful, which I know it will be. So I created an early draft of my Steam Deck Guide on GitHub to help others when get their Steam Deck device. Feel free to share and contributions are welcomed. Steam Deck Guide: https://github.com/mikeroyal/Steam-Deck-Guide
As always keep up the great work guys!
