Alexandar has the solution to paying OSS devs

How do companies pay folks and projects for open source work? Bitcoin.

I can’t believe I was thinking it — I think Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on the whole are less compelling than blockchains are … and are likely just large Ponzi schemes but by nature of being work something and given how easy it is to send money (even if it is slow) I couldn’t help but think:

Bitcoin! There are no middle men. There are no PayPals or other things to say who or who can’t get money. (I mean do abide sanctions and other things) all one needs is a wallet. Not sure how this scales with legal entities and non-profits etc but what do you think? Could this be the one killer use for cryptocurrencies: large companies paying open source projects for their work?
