Hey guys, Ive been a software engineer for about 11 years now and I have now transitioned into a manager! 

I work for a large company and while I know how to be a good dev, I would like to hear your guys thoughts on what makes a good manager? 

It's my first time as a manager and I'm going to have a large group under me in multiple countries. I have read a lot of articles and posts but I would appreciate to hear your collective perspective on this.
