Yeah, like I can almost understand the “torrenting is too hard” argument if you’re just going to pay for the official streams but once you want to download them just grab one of the copies that someone already did (and potentially improved)

The ones I recognize aren’t actually gambling at all, they just aesthetically resemble them. From Balatro and what I remember of peggle there’s no risk/reward really. From your description I’d expect something like a mechanic where you bet a resource where you clear a challenge (where the resource is an in game currency for upgrades etc but money or a proxy).

I didn’t say it was bad, per-say, I don’t know enough about design to judge that, it just immediately triggered the “this is ai” bell in my head when I looked at it.
