It results in Denethor and Saruman doing some fucked up shit that they are convinced is for the better good.

Just did the same thing with a 2015 Intel MacBook Pro. It runs great, had some issues with screen flickering but I think it was only happening while using Remmina for RDP and it seems to have gone away by excluding Remmina from display scaling (retina display). So far pretty good battery life too…
