Your files are encrypted locally on your device using post-quantum cryptography before any transmission. The decryption keys never leave your device unencrypted. Our zero-knowledge architecture means we are technically incapable of reading your files or their names: if compelled, we can only provide encrypted, unreadable data.
The beta is open to everyone: professionals, legal and tech teams, and any organisation looking for a serious alternative to mainstream clouds.
US cloud services fall under the CLOUD Act, which allows US authorities to compel access to data held by American companies: including on European servers. Retyc operates entirely within the EU, under European law, which significantly reduces exposure to these extraterritorial laws. When confidentiality matters, jurisdiction matters.
