surprise! this page is also a place to cultivate my growing appreciation for physical mail. since moving in with my partner (an active member of postcrossing), i often come home to find cards in our mailbox from all over the world. i love the stamps, i love the postmarks, i love the tiny doodles people include, i love hearing about local landmarks, and i love how sometimes the cards get a little scuffed on their journey. mail rocks.
