I am officially going to be making ridiculous 90s monsters for Sunnydale Prom, Pop Culture Immersives’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer event!

It’s going to be so much fun, and I’m so excited to help out with it!

We got some fantastic photos back from Vitz Photography for Misfit Cabaret Presents Grimm! This was such a great show, and I’m thrilled to see some images of us monstering it up!

San Francisco was long considered an artistic and performance powerhouse, but now it’s reputation is one of a city caught in a doom loop! Jade is determined to curate a show that will demonstrate to the world that the Bay Area still has some artistic life in it!

But when your only stagehand is a flaky Sasquatch, your would-be magician kid brother is underfoot, your show is undermined by a scheming deinonychus and your guest artists are dropping off like flies, is there any way the show can end except for catastrophe?

We’re going back to SEATTLE!!!! I’m so thrilled to be headed back to one of my favorite cities with Misfit Cabaret Presents Grimm! I haven’t been to Seattle since The Plague! I’m looking forward to doing all the things and seeing all the places and hugging all the folks I haven’t seen in years!

I instantly felt at home in Seattle in a way that I’ve only ever felt in the Bay Area. I’ve missed it a lot, and I’m so glad we get to make funky art there again!

Backstage at Potrero Stage! Starting off the week with Wesley making a special appearance at Mask Monday!

Now that Halloween is over, I can post pictures of the puppet effect that I built for @terrorvaultsf this year!

In one part of the haunt, the Insight cult burns a human sacrifice alive, and through stage trickery the actor is swapped out with a puppet of his twitching, charred corpse.

It’s always such a blast working on productions for @thepeacheschrist and @thedavidflower! I’m so pleased that I was able to make a contribution to their highly regarded and endlessly creative event!

So this week I’ve had a few people ask me about our September Voidville show, so I thought I’d repost this info for other folks who may have missed it the first time around.

Sadly we are not doing a September repeat of our sold-out Shadow Circus Voidville show. The downstairs theater at Amado’s was wrecked in a flood, and all the shows that were booked down there are cancelled while they rebuild.

We are hoping to be back up in the new year, though! And trust me; when that happens, you’ll hear aaaall about it! You’ll be sick of hearing about it, because I won’t be able to shut up about it!

But also; please help out our friends at Amado’s. They’re losing out on a lot of necessary income by having to cancel their downstairs shows, and we don’t want them to have to close. You can help them out through their GoFundMe at https://gofund.me/84c9c43d
