What is shortl.ee?
A short daily digest of what happened in a country. The tl;dr of local news.
Why does this exist?
Every country has dozens of news outlets. If you don't live there, you don't know which ones matter. We read them all so you can catch up in 5 minutes without learning the local media landscape first.
How does it work?
We read hundreds, sometimes thousands of articles every day: local media, press releases, official statements. We identify the main events and compile them into a digest you can skim in 5 minutes. Every story links to the original sources for further reading. More questions?
